MICROSOFT DEVELOPER PREDICTED NPP’S VICTORY
A Kumasi based young Microsoft Developer, Mr. Evan Kyei a.k.a Akora, has told journalists in Kumasi that the victory of the New Patriotic Party in the December Elections can be attributed to the vigilance of the I.T contenders in the party who thought that monitoring of the election through electronic mechanism would give the party a landslide victory.
In a chat with the media, Mr. Evan Kyei who was also instrumental to advise NPP to pay attention about the electoral process through electronic devices observed that election victory goes with electronic process but not the voters ID cards or the voter’s verification system. He said electronic systems works sensitively in many ways to achieve positive result through I.T. infractructure, hence he took upon himself to advise NPP top guns during the electioneering campaign to put measures in place to stop election riggings or fraud through computer at the Electoral Commission outfit. Kyei noted that his several campaigns on air notably at both Kessben & Boss FM stations respectively had yielded a positive results with the victory of President Nana Addo.
For the record, Mr. Evans Kyei is a Microsoft Developer and Cisco certified Networking Associate who specialises in developing windows/desktop applications, website and Mobile Applications. He is the current Managing Director of Akora Online Radio, Ahenfie gh.com, Multimind Technologies and Multimind Productions. Mr. Kyei had his training at Kofi Anan Centre for Excellence in ICT and finally had his Certified Microsoft Professional Developer at Koenig College in Dehli, India – Touching on his social contribution in ICT, he has been going to air educating public about the usefulness in Basic ICT Concept and first computer expert to highlight about online based voting system to be used in Ghana, He has given lectures on the Programming and Networking Engineering at UEW, Kumasi Campus (community practising) and some private I.T. Institutions with over 7 years experience on the field of I.T., and still looking forward to contribute and encourage the youth to have interest in the ICT sector to the national development.
