BISHOP POKU URGES PRESIDENT TO STAY VIGILANT
The Living Seed Chapel sited at Sokoban-Ampayoo in the Atwima Kwanwoma District of Ashanti Region has ended its 45th Anniversary celebration with a call on H/E President Nana Addo Danquah to say focused and vigilant in his bid to transform the economy.
Addressing the function, the founder/leader of the church Bishop Asante Poku observed that following the landslide victory of Nana Addo in the 2016 general elections some faceless people are enraged with the victory and are up for destruction through carrying out plots to make the NPP government ungovernable, therefore the President needs to open his eyes to nip all the plots against his government in the bud. The man of God attributed such plots to some of the nation’s leaders who are always up for mischief and tend to be greedy citizens. These leaders he said, don’t want the progress of the country except their own welfare, hence the advised to the President for attention.
On this note, Bishop Asante Poku called on Christians to renew their faith in God who is everpresent to shower blessings unto those who put their trust in Him. He said though Christians stands the risk to face challenges in life but this obstacle should not be their burden to engage in activities that could block their blessings instead, he advised them to show gratitude in the Lord who is a rescuer and provider. He further expressed regret that indiscipline has eaten deep into the fabrics of the society to such an extent that the youth today has become lazy, failing to heed to the advice of the elderly let alone find a decent work to do expect quick money which goes with punishment or death.
Touching on the activities of pastors in this latter days, the respected Bishop expressed worry about the manner in which some pastors use false doctrines to tarnish the image of God thereby bringing down the noble profession of the priesthood into disrepute and accordingly charged such false prophets to turn over a new leaf before the wrath of God comes upon them.
Commenting on the recent calamities in the country, Bishop Poku posited that in the spiritual realm, forces have targeted the country for eminent destruction through bloodshed in the year (2017) and that until powerful prayers are said for the country, worst things would take place in some parts of the country notably Central and Northern Regions respectively where bloodshed would be a common thing. Reacting further to the calamities that would greet the country in the coming days, the man of God said it is true that many people will die in this year if Ghanaian pastors fail to pray for the Country because satan and it’s agents are up for a dangerous spiritual attack against the nation as a result of the deeds from some politicians who used blood sacrifices to advance their political achievements but now pretend to be holy.
