DON’T DISAPPOINT THE PRESIDENT-NPP STALWART
THE Ashanti Regional Nasarah Coordinator of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mohammed Abdul Hamid said, for the president, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the New Patriotic Party to succeed and vigorously deliver to the good people of Ghana, all lies on the soldiers of ministers of state, heads of various institutions and all government appointees.
He bemoaned that the expectations of Ghanaians are for the party to implement the policies they sold out to the people which is key to as a party. Hence we cannot afford to disappoint them. ‘’we call for change; however, the change has to reflect positively on the lives of the citizenry.
Mohammed Abdul Hamid admitted that the NDC government has led the country into total suffering and hardship and the NPP led by president Akufo-Addo is their hope and the mistakes made by the NDC government, we have to glue ourselves together as a party that has the people at heart.
He contended that whoever had the opportunity of given position should comprehend that it is a call to serve God and people and commit to transparency and accountability so as to up lift the image of the president and the NPP party. ’The interest of the people and nation should be our core responsibilities’’. He stressed. The president have several occasions confirm to diligently dealt with corruption and mismanagement of public funds under his government and much is expected from all whether you hold public office or in our individual capacities. Ghana will be giving a new image under this government when we appreciate the task ahead of us and consistently commit to transparency and the can -do- spirit.
All these, however, the party is too young in government to observe undue pressure from party members of who to be given position. For this reason, he plead with the grassroots members and the teeming supporters to exercise restrained and stay calm and resolute and he is optimistic that whoever is worth to be part of the president’s team would be given the node. This, he said, will bring cohesion, truce and understanding among us in the party.
