On the Akosombo Accra highway, Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang, the National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) vice presidential candidate, was attacked in one of her automobiles.

The attacker is suspected of being a police outrider who was in charge of a caravan of supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

On November 29, an altercation occurred between Akuse and Kpong.

The driver of the car whose windscreen was broken says he believes the other convoy was a “NPP convoy.”
The motorist clarified that his car’s windscreen was broken when one of the police motorcyclists hurled something at it.

Following a two-day campaign visit of the Oti Region, Professor Jane Naana’s team was on their way back. Nobody was harmed.
